Our guide was Gregory and he was amazing! He was so knowledgable and passionate about Peruvian history. He gave the tour in a light hearted way with plenty of time to stop and enjoy the views. He also offered multiple times to take photos and videos for us which all turned out amazing. He really made our experience that bit extra special!
View full reviewThe tour had excellent structure, amazing food, and highly knowledgeable guides. The hotel in Aguas Calientes was also great. We faced minor WhatsApp communication issues and they forgot our trekking poles, but it didn't spoil the wonderful trip
View full reviewAlthough this was a physically demanding trip, it was one of the best experiences of my life. Abe, Wilbur and Alex were patient, kind and caring the food was amazing and the accommodated my vegetarian request, which was really very nice. Thank you for making this ship available.

View full reviewI had an amazing time. Great people, great views, and awesome accommodations. The guides worked super hard to make sure this was all true. Specifically Sarita and Yovan were the best tour guides I have ever had. They worked so hard and went above and beyond everyday. This experience would not have been the same without them!

The 2‑day Inca Trail was an unforgettable experience—short enough to fit into a tight schedule, but still packed with the magic, history, and breathtaking scenery that make this route legendary. From start to finish, the journey felt perfectly balanced: challenging enough to be rewarding, yet accessible and enjoyable the entire way. The first day was a beautiful blend of steady hiking, lush mountain landscapes, and fascinating archaeological sites. Reaching Wiñay Wayna, with its sweeping terraces and cascading stone structures, was a highlight all on its own. The trail was well‑maintained, the pace comfortable, and the guide, Edy Puma is incredibly knowledgeable. He brought the history of the Inca to life with stories, cultural insights, and genuine passion. Arriving at the Sun Gate was the moment that truly took my breath away. Seeing Machu Picchu appear through the clouds from above—quiet, majestic, and glowing in the afternoon light—felt like stepping into another world. The second day’s guided tour of the citadel was equally impressive, offering a deeper appreciation of the engineering, spirituality, and ingenuity behind this wonder. The logistics were seamless, the food delicious, and the entire experience thoughtfully organized. For anyone who wants the essence of the classic Inca Trail without committing to four full days, this 2‑day version is absolutely perfect. It’s inspiring, energizing, and something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Edy Puma for this great experience!
