Salkantay experience
TOP CLASS
We’ve just finished the four-day trek with Amadeo and Luis Miguel and genuinely couldn’t have asked for better guides. Amadeo, an archaeologist, led the group and brought the perfect mix of knowledge, stories and plenty of jokes along the way. Luis Miguel stayed towards the back of the group and was an absolute lifesaver whenever anyone was struggling. Both were brilliant at what they do, incredibly friendly, and made the whole experience perfect for us. Couldn’t recommend them or the trek highly enough!

Best trekking experience ever!
I booked the 4-day Salkantay trekking + Machu Picchu last minute. The admin team sent several messages regarding the packing list and answered my questions before my departure. But what made the trip special and truly memorable was the tour guide and the entire supply and support team during the trip, and how they helped and supported everyone, including me, a slower trekker. Someone always stayed behind and stayed with me when I fell behind. Always kindness and encouragement, from all support teams and of course the trekking team. The food was plenty and delicious! I almost cried in (happy) tears when we received a hot coca tea and a sandwich at the highest point of the trekking. What a treat at 4640m! Our tour guide, Roger, who is very knowledgeable about Inca culture, a great story teller and a fun person, we were very lucky to have him as our guide! He also helped maximize our time spent at Machu Picchu and enjoyment at the site, and also retrieved my jacket forgotten at the hotel😂. A shout out to Chef Ferdinand, William and especially lead guide Roger Carlsin, thank you for this wonderful experience!

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit und unvergessliche Momente. Alles war so, wie in der Beschreibung. Auch sind wir froh, dass wir relativ kurzfristig den Short-Inca-Trail machen konnten, da der reguläre Inca-Trail geschlossen war. Etwas verbesserungswürdig wäre nur die Kommunikation zu dieser Änderung gewesen. Wir haben keine Bestätigung ehalten, obwohl es uns mündlich zugesichert worden war, was zu Unsicherheit bei unserer Planung geführt hat.

Notre guide, Eddy était exceptionnel et avait beaucoup de connaissances, qu'il nous a partagé tout au long du trajet. Il était assisté de Rody qui a également fait un travail exceptionnel en veillant à la sécurité de tous les participants. Le trek était très bien organisé, nous avions l'opportunité de marcher à notre rythme à de nombreuses reprises. Les repas étaient excellents et l'accueil à chaque camp était parfait, toujours avec beaucoup d'attentions de la part des porteurs. Les paysages traversés sont magnifiques. Je recommande sans réserve TrexPerience qui m'a permis de vivre un séjour inoubliable.
